Sisimizi.org and the software provided for download is a private, non-commercial project from some games enthusiasts, who contribute in different ways during their free time. There are no commercial interests and anyone can freely download, distribute and use the software under the terms of GNU General Public License. We try to provide free basic support for all users on our forums, but there is no claim to support, updates or further development of our website or software.
THE INFORMATION, CONTENT, DOCUMENTS, SOFTWARE AND RELATED GRAPHICS PUBLISHED ON THIS WEBSITE COULD INCLUDE TECHNICAL INACCURACIES, ERRORS OR OMISSIONS. CHANGES ARE PERIODICALLY ADDED TO THE INFORMATION HEREIN. SISIMIZI MAY, BUT IS NOT OBLIGATED TO, MAKE IMPROVEMENTS AND/OR CHANGES IN THE INFORMATION, SERVICES, AND/OR THE PROGRAMS DESCRIBED HEREIN AT ANY TIME.
The appearance of external hyperlinks does not constitute endorsement by Sisimizi.org of the linked web sites, or the information, products or services contained therein. We check every website carefully for illegal content or links before providing a hyperlink, but neither can we be held responsible if overlooked anything, nor for any updates or changes since. Nevertheless, for legal reasons we will check these hyperlinks again from time to time. In case we get knowledge of any unlawful content within a linked site, we will delete this hyperlink immediately.
Using the forum you agree not to upload, email, post, publish or otherwise transmit any content that: (a) is false or misleading; (b) is defamatory; (c) is harassing or invades another's privacy, or promotes racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual; (d) is obscene; (e) infringes another's rights, including but not limited to intellectual property rights; (f) constitutes unsolicited bulk e-mail, junk mail, spam or chain letters; or (g) violates any laws or regulations.
We reserve the right to release information to the proper authorities, as a result of a violation of these terms or unlawful acts, if the information is subpoenaed and/or if we deem it necessary and/or appropriate.
We are not interested in collecting any personal user information, so in most instances, you may visit our site and forum without providing information to us. Posting and few other actions on forum require a registration, typically asking for a nickname, your e-mail address and a password. We recommend that you use a unique password for any forum or e-mail account and do not divulge it to anyone. Also remember to sign out of your forum account and close your browser window when you have finished your work. This is to prevent others from accessing your personal information.
If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence or communication. In addition we receive information about website usage in general from default provider and/or server log files. This does not necessarily identify the user, but can include IP addresses and basic informations like country or traffic.
As we respect your privacy, we decided to NOT use any other third party web analytics services, that might give us - but primarily collect for their own purposes - a lot more detailed information about users and their ways through websites. We don't like the idea of being tracked all the time, and we are quite sure it's the same about you.
We use concrete5 for our website and phpBB for the forum, both open source software that make use of cookie files. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a webserver, and gets saved on your computer's hard drive. These cookie files store and sometimes track information about what you do on websites. On most browers you can disable cookies in general or for specific websites. We do not use or analyze cookies in any other way than the software's default (e.g. "Log me in automatically each visit" on forum needs a cookie). Note: On our forum there is a link "Delete all board cookies" on the bottom of the page, that you can use to - uhmm - delete all board cookies I guess ;-)
As long as there are no legal reasons and we are not forced by authorities to do so, we will not sell or give away any of the few personal user data collected on our website or forum. However, since no data transmission over and no server infrastructure on the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or which we transmit to you from our websites and services.
Sisimizi.org is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others, and we expect our users to do the same. Game Catalog plugins, mainly contributed by users, make use of data from external websites. It's hardly possible for us to check if the writer of a specific plugin got permission of website's owner, especially for websites in foreign languages. So if your website is visited by users of Sisimizi Game Catalog through a plugin and you deny permission, please let us know and we will delete the plugin from our server. But we kindly ask for reading our information for webmasters before you make any decision, as we think your website could benefit from Sisimizi Game Catalog, too.
